It all started with an elephant pillow for my niece. Then a diaper cover for a friend's newborn. A stuffed monkey for another newborn. Soon I found myself in my creations. My mom taught me to crochet when I was a teen, but I never fell in love with it. Then in 2016 my mom was diagnosed with cancer. By her side I picked up the hook again, to keep my hands busy. She passed before I finished my first project, but the bond remains and when I have a hook in my hand I feel she is near.
